Thank you for visiting our website. With this privacy policy we would like to inform you in detail about the processing of your personal data in connection with the use of this website. 

 

We attach great importance to the secure and confidential processing of your data, in particular taking into account the applicable legal regulations of the Telecommunications Act (TKG), the European Data Protection Regulation (EU-DSGVO), the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) and other data protection regulations. In order to meet these requirements as a data controller and to ensure complete protection of your personal data, we have taken numerous technical as well as organizational measures. 

 

In principle, you can also visit this website without leaving us any personal data. 

The processing of the personal data collected from you is carried out exclusively for the purposes stated below. Your data will not be passed on to third parties unless this is purpose-related, necessary and unavoidable; or you have expressly consented to this. 

 

This privacy policy focuses on the processing of your personal data. As these are the basis around which all data protection laws revolve. Personal data is, according to Art. 4 (1) EU-DSGVO, any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or one or more special characteristics. In this case, these include, for example, names, addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail or IP addresses.

3. Data collection and processing when visiting the website 

 

When our website is accessed, the Internet browser used by the visitor automatically sends data to the server of this website and stores it in a log file for a limited period of time. The log files are technically necessary for us so that the page you called up can be displayed to you. The legal basis for the storage of this data results from Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f) EU-DSGVO. 

They are automatically deleted within 24 months after the website is called up. Until automatic deletion, the following data is stored without further input by the visitor: 

 

- Browser used (type and version) 

- Time of the page call 

- Success or failure of the page request 

- Operating system of the visitor 

- URL of the website from which you reached us (referrer URL) 

- Host name of the accessing computer 

- IP address via which the access is made 

 

In connection with your use of the website, the IP address of the computer you are using is recorded, among other things. It may be possible to identify users of the website via the IP address. However, we do not evaluate the recorded IP addresses for this purpose. The IP addresses are evaluated solely on a statistical basis in anonymous form. 

 

When using our online services, your IP address may be forwarded to the providers of the online portals. 

 

4. Customer portal 

 

If you want to use our customer portal to manage the consumption values of your residential units, you must register by entering your e-mail address, your name and a password of your choice. Then you must add the residential units to be managed to your account and verify them by entering the system and device numbers or an activation code. It is mandatory to provide the data mentioned above, all other information can be provided voluntarily. 

 

We use the so-called double-opt-in procedure for registration, i.e. your registration is only completed once you have confirmed your registration by clicking on the link contained in a confirmation e-mail sent to you for this purpose. 

 

If you use our customer portal, we store your data required for the fulfillment of the contract until you finally delete your access. Furthermore, we store the voluntary data you provide for the duration of your use of the portal, unless you delete it beforehand. You can manage and change all data in the protected customer area. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b) EU-DSGVO. 

 

To prevent unauthorized access to your personal data by third parties, the connection is encrypted using TLS technology. 

 

5. Matomo

 

We use Matomo, a web analytics service provided by InnoCraft Ltd, 7 Waterloo Quay PO625, 6140 Wellington, New Zealand, to analyze and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained allow us to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of Matomo is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a EU-DSGVO. 

Cookies are stored on your computer for this evaluation. We store the information collected in this way with Matomo in the cloud (location: Europe). You can set the evaluation by deleting existing cookies and preventing the storage of cookies. If you prevent the storage of cookies, we point out that you may not be able to use this website in full. Preventing the storage of cookies is possible through the setting in your browser. 

We use Matomo with the extension "AnonymizeIP". This means that IP addresses are processed in abbreviated form, thus excluding the possibility of direct personal references. The IP address transmitted by your browser via Matomo is not merged with other data collected by us.

6. Usage of Session-Cookies 

 

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are text files that are placed and stored on a computer system via an Internet browser. Many cookies contain a so-called cookie ID. A cookie ID is a unique identifier of the cookie. It consists of a string of characters by which Internet pages and servers can be assigned to the specific Internet browser in which the cookie was stored. This enables the visited Internet pages and servers to distinguish the individual browser of the data subject from other Internet browsers that contain other cookies. A specific internet browser can be recognized and identified via the unique cookie ID. We set session cookies, this means time-limited first-party cookies, which are absolutely necessary for the holistic use of the website. They store a so-called session ID, with which various requests of your browser can be assigned to the common session. This allows your computer to be recognized when you return to the website. The session cookies are deleted when you close the browser. The legal basis for the use of these cookies is Art. 6 para. 1 p.1 lit. f) EU-DSGVO and § 165 para. 3 TKG, as they are technically indispensable to display the website correctly.

We will of course use the data provided exclusively for the purpose for which you provided it. If this is communication data, you also consent to us contacting you in this way in order to process your matter. Thus, the processing takes place on the basis of the voluntarily given consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 p.1 lit. a) EU-DSGVO. 

The personal data collected for the use of communication will be irrevocably deleted as soon as the request is completed and there are no reasons for further storage (e.g. subsequent order placement, contract conclusion, etc.). You can revoke your consent for the future at any time.

8. Data subject rights

 

You have the following rights: 

  • the right to information Art. 15 EU-DSGVO in conjunction with. § 4 para. 6 DSG 
  • the right to correction Art. 16 EU-DSGVO 
  • the right to deletion Art. 17 EU-DSGVO 
  • the right to restriction of processing Art. 18 EU-DSGVO 
  • the right to data portability Art. 20 EU-DSGVO 
  • the right to revoke consent that may have been given Art. 7 (3) EU-DSGVO 
  • the right to object to a processing activity based on Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f) EU-DSGVO Art. 21 EU-DSGVO. 

In the context of the processing of your personal data, some of these rights can only be fully exercised insofar as these rights do not conflict with other legal obligations, such as the obligation to retain data, the right to erasure.
